So....what the hell. I'm testing it right now just by blowing into it and there is no resistance. The negative sign is all the way counter clockwise and the positive is all the way clockwise.
Anything past a slight clockwise turn from all the way negative just opens it up all the way with no resistance....The only resistance I can get is if the controller is turned nearly all the way to all the way to the Negative sign.
That seems counter intuitive.
Goddamnit Isis. I know they're crap, but I didn't expect them to ship me a piece of shit right off the bat.

The lamest of all boost controllers are manual bleed types, you bought the 2nd version for what! More fittings or better locking cap, oh or better silicone hoses. Make you own for $2.50 US
Any ball and spring type, works better. Make one for $5.50. buy mine for the price of shipping.
Anyway, they work by making a boost leak before the actuator. the bigger the leak the more you boost. I've had one on a t25 it was only able to raise the boost 2-3psi fully open. Lame!

How does it handle up to constant use? Do things get gooped up? My only fear here is that something would jam and the ball would stay shut. Someone also commented that you have to drill a vent hole for when the ball shuts to relieve the pressure inside. Is that true? I don't see what the problem could be if there was a tad bit of pressure in it.
