car is gone???... not good...

i know u guys dont like to read so here.... i was making a u turn the lady was making a right at a stop sign... she was looking at on coming traffic and only looking there... i made my u turn... she didnt look to where i was... she accelerated... i couldnt get out of the way... so now im wondering if it is totalled... or if my suspension could have gotten messed up... only had my car for 13 months... sucks ass even though it didnt hit me too hard yet... its hurts when i look at the damage then i look on the drivers side where it is clean

hopefully you were making a legal u turn.
i know exactly the situation that was.
i have been in many of those where the other person does NOT look in the direction they are planning on going. they dont even see you.
best bet is that if you are ever in that situation again, dont make a u turn at all if there is somebody else trying to make a right.

is the frame bent ? i think it ix fixable as long as the bent is straight... my car was in a similiar situation 2 yrs ago i believe.. i forgot actually lol... it cost be about 700 to get it fix includes pulling the quarter panel, the door n the front fender was minor and partially repaint ... altho the dent on my car wasn't as deep, i don't think it makes that much difference. good luck

who has the right of way at a light where u-turns are legal? person making the u-turn has a green arrow and is already on the road he's turning onto. person making the right turn has a red light and is not already on the road he's turning onto

umm... the u turn wasnt at a light it was just a neighborhood street entrance.. the u turn was ok no signs or any thing... under the door that whole little part is pushed inwards... and under the car the railing is off a bit u can see in my album... last 2 pics...

sorry to say but it sounds you like u be ruled at fault. of course since there are no witnesses besides you and her (right?) you could just lie. in NJ that would guarantee a insurance split of 50/50 - we do not have 100% at faults here unless someone admits fault.
