-Might need better pics,. but that might not be repairable just at a quick look.

-'Rewrapping' seats isnt an easy/cheap task to do right either.

-Prolly didnt needs its own thread about this. Theres a 'Small Questions Thread' Sticky'd.

....aaaaand at $225 a seat,....might just wanna go buy yourself a new black one and call it done. Make a computer/gaming chair out of this one....lol

It's really hard to see any detail in that picture, so I'm not too sure if this will actually work, but if what I think happened is, in fact, what happened, then this could work:

- The threads should just be a threaded insert bonded to the seat shell. If the insert pulled out somewhat cleanly, then you can install another insert that's retained mechanically (like a riv-nut) or using epoxy.

- If the threaded insert didn't pull out cleanly, but instead took a bunch of fiber glass with it, you you'll need to re-glass the area and then install a new insert - or make a patch panel from Metal/Fiberglass/Appropriate material and install it over the damaged area.

A patch panel is probably your best bet, especially something metal. Install the insert into the patch panel and then fasten it to the seat/glass it in place. That should help to spread the load out over a larger area decreasing the chances of the insert pulling out again.
