So first off let me say sorry if this has been covered but I can't find a for sure answer anywhere, I might just be search retarded.

So anyways, I want to replace my radiator with this Isis Radiator:
*ISIS Aluminum Radiator - Nissan 240sx 89-94 w/KA24 - Enjuku Racing Parts, LLC (http://www.enjukuracing.com/products/*ISIS-Aluminum-Radiator-%252d-Nissan-240sx-89%252d94-w%7B47%7DKA24.html)

It seems to get generally good reviews for the price but the only thing is I don't want to convert to electric fans. I've read that the clutch fan is just as, if not more, efficient as electric and I don't trust myself with wiring just yet. But I'm worried about fitment as I read that the Isis rad might make it hard to fit the clutch fan shroud. Does anyone have any experience with this?

This is where I read about the shroud having trouble fitting.

Well I'm gonna go ahead and order it and give it a shot. Hopefully it fits, if not I guess I'll have to start doing some research on how to wire electric fans.

with all increased sized radiators that fit in STOCK location, the shroud is usually cut/trimmed so the increased with of the radiator doesnt make the shoud hit the fan. Also install the lower part of the shroud, then the fan and then the top shroud is what i read makes it a bit easier to install completetly.

i use clutch fans personally, everytime i've used electric it has been worthless. But some friends over here use that isis with no problems at all. And there is a thread around here about wiring electric fans just search google and it will appear on this site and a few others.

Doesn't matter that it's an SR w/a Koyo radiator... Same concept, extremely similar fitment... My setup has the larger-diameter GKtech clutch fan... OEM shroud requires NO trimming whatsoever. The only issue you're going to have is the bracket that holds the 'hood-keeper-upper' stick will be slightly making contact with the radiator... Nothing a few whacks with a hammer won't solve. Takes about 10sec to get it clear of the radiator.

Easy peasy.

Oh man, that's awesome. I've been sitting at work trying to figure out how to wire e fans and I'm lost. I've never done anything with wiring and I've seen a lot of people talk about melting the harness, fan not turning on, drag on alternator, etc. I'm glad that fits.

And your bay looks clean as hell, btw. Thanks again.

sorry to thread jack but i'm thinking of ordering that GKtech fan, how is it working for you? would really like some review/opinion on it before i order that AND the kazama style catch can... shipping from australia to PR is stupid expensive to waste.

I saw that when looking for the radiator. I'd be interested in knowing how well it does as well.

Thank you as well, kind sir. As for wiring e-fan(s), it's not hard if you wire to the OEM fan relay (Wiring to OEM makes things GEICO-easy lol). If you look closely at my pic above, you'll see that I kept air conditioning... Which means I needed a condenser fan... So I wired an aftermarket e-fan up to the original condenser fan wiring and tucked it up under the fan shroud:

Works perfectly with no clearance issues.

No need to worry about shipping from AU to Puerto Rico- Just order your GKtech stuff from FRSport: GKtech - FRSport.com Search (http://www.frsport.com/index.php?target=products&mode=searchImproved&q=GKtech&x=13&y=10)

They also carry the Kazama catch can: http://www.frsport.com/index.php?target=products&mode=searchImproved&q=Kazama+cross&x=17&y=13

The GKtech fan is AWESOME! They say it's a bit louder than OEM, but I didn't notice that in the least. Also, they said it doesn't clear the shroud with Nismo mounts- but it does (at least on S13)...

As far as cooling, it moves serious air. With an upgraded radiator & shroud, you will love it!

Is Isis same size/dimension as Koyo? I think so.
I have Koyo radiator with KA and I was able to install everything back in place. No e-fan...
It gets very tight, so my hands got some scratches though.
