I currently own a garrett T3/60-1 and have an option to trade it for a turbonetics T4/T61. Just looking for an outside opinion on which one to run. The garrett has a .63 hotside while the turbonetics has a .96. Both have a .70 a/r inlet. Im looking to make a little under 500hp and I know both these turbos will do that. My main question is, what is spool time gonna be like for both and which one would be better for drifting? I know the T61 will hit pretty late and I know guys that have had trouble with late spooling turbos making it difficult to drift. Any input would be appreciated.

T61 is not anywhere near a good choice for a sub 500hp car.
60-1 really isnt either but a better choice than a T4 T61.

I eventually wanna build the motor and make more power but for now these are my options. The 60-1 atleast has a tiny hotside so it will spool quicker on the rb25.
i just wanna have good top end power and still be able to throw the car around
