before this gets out of hand you guys should know something.
Most virii you may receive today will undoubtable come from someone you know, or have previously communicated with. Between virus infected address books and ISPs/webhosts selling their client domain lists, it's VERY rare that any malicious virus or worm actually comes from where it's return path says it does, email identities are extremely easy to spoof (forge).
That being said, get AVG from grisoft.com if you're one of those silly people that doesn't have any anitvirus software/firewalls (zonealarm is an excellent FREE software firewall), having a router running NAT, even if you only have one computer isn't a bad idea either.
oh yeah, this should also prolly go to "off topic" ;)
You will also note virus's coming from names such as Management, Administration, Admin,
[email protected] With titles such as Account Useage, Suspended Account, etc. They contain a virus and we and not sure the source. Were working on getting a new mailserver and new spam filtering software... we just bought Norton AnitiVirus Corp edtition and it cant even block emails the contain .scr, .pif, etc files. So.... it will be some time before these emails go away. Sorry for the headache!
