I installed new calipers and tried to use some cheap speed bleeders. One of the speed bleeders was broken. The open package taped together should have been a warning sign, but I am retarded. Anyway, I tried to install my original bleeder valves, but they won't screw down all the way. There are around 3 or so threads still showing. I can't recall whether the screw were flush when I took them off, but I assume they were. What could possibly be causing this? It is like this on every caliper, even the old ones that the speed bleeders never went in. Am I not doing something? Thanks in advance.

Do the bleeders screw into the original calipers, or did you give em up for a core return? Where are the calipers from?

I have trashed the speed bleeders and am just trying to put the original bleeders in the calipers. The new calipers are from a 180sx. I have even tried to put the original bleeder valves back into the original calipers, but they still won't screw all the way down. They screw down until around 3 threads are still showing and then stop. I have to be doing something wrong.

doesnt matter ow many threads are showing, what matters is if the caliper valve is CLOSED.
is it?

Did you get correct bleeders for the 180sx calipers? Im pretty sure that you would order bleeders for an Maxima..or am I just confusing all the jdm-usdm part conversions?
