Thanks guys! It is definitely a nice car, just no place in the garage for it, and I don't want it rotting away outside

Yep, solid color now and it looks great. I was not aware of any title problems when I purchased it, and the previous owner also had it registered. I had no issues getting it registered. The only thig I did have to do was take the title to the insurance office (Allstate) to verify the VIN. Other than that, it has full coverage.

so it finally got a US title with its own 13-17 digit vin? original owner who brought it from japan, never got the paperwork done properly to get it titled here and just got it transported here. The issue was getting the title translated from japanese to english, paying the proper fees, route the right paperwork etc to get it legal in all 49 states (california would never allow that shit lol). i think i still have a copy of the japanese title/customs paperwork somewhere on my computer. not sure how many owners ago, but back in south florida, the guy was registering it was a cressida vin so it wasn't really legal back then. picture of the actual title/vin? Also didn't florida changes its antique law from 25 to 30?

btw, not trying to bust on the OP. just want somethings clarified

coty_garcia- they are 15x9.15 -19 and 15x9 -38

GeneStarWindGSW- No worries man. I have not heard any of that from the previous owner, and the VIN# is GX716140940, and title says Toyota Mark II Sedan. I will take a copy of the title and post it up just for peace of mind to the potential buyers. I have checked all the plates prior to buying it, and nothing seems suspect so if someone was driving it as a Cressida that would have been sketchy if they were pulled over.

presidente- Yeah I sold it =( I miss it more than any car I have ever owned. I liked it more than my 06 Z06 I have come to realize. That is why I really want another Subaru.

^ Thanks guys.

I just added a few more pictures, including engine pictures, and one with the new wheels. I just had the car aligned yesterday and will be replacing the inner and outer tie rods tomorrow just for good measure. After that it is back for another alignment.

Pretty sure I have replied to all PMs, if not send me another one.

All pm's replied.

Just a note for anyone who might be wondering. Parts are not super hard to get. Most engine parts are available here from the 7m/1j/2j. Suspension is interchangeable with the MX73 Cressida. I actually have a nicely organized list of common parts and what is interchangeable for the new owner.
