I logged in yesterday after about a month and two days of inactivity and had to go through 66 pages of the "parts for sale" (JUST parts, not including other sub-sections) to catch up.
We should be grateful that our secondary market is so strong. And for the broke folks, you may not be able to afford anything, but at least there's plenty to choose from.
That is all. I know, CSB...

It's funny you mention that. I'm on a few other forums and they in no way compare to the classifieds on here. Go figure..

I love the market place here, it's very competitive and there is always something I need. I feel bad though, sometimes I can't seem to make up my mind on my car so I always feel guilty about flaking the rare times that I do.

its nice for buying and sucks for selling. threads cycle through about one page per hour. 2 days and your shit is lost.

Yup 2 days. Damn some times its one day. Hell half a day can put your item 2-3 pages back sometimes. LOL

If you used your signature for a direct link to your for sale threads instead of quotes from internet bros, you will get people looking.
I use bit.ly, it counts how many clicks. I sold my Nardi set up within 2-3 days of posting it up and I got more than 40 views with the signature direct link alone.

Yeah the classifieds section is one of the best forums on zilvia.

I agree, Zilvia does have the best FS section. Always loaded with great parts and deals.
I did my share as a vendor here and too bad its not the same on that side though. Guys on Zilvia just prefer to pay less

Maybe they should up the bump limit?? To like 5? Maybe... :)

^I agree.. There would be a lot less threads and would clean up the FS section a bit
PS : If you make a Ultimate FS thread you can bump it unlimited times

What difference would that be? Your thread would still get pushed back.
Actually, it would get pushed back even faster if we increased the bump limit.

unlimited bump, with bi-daily limit of 1 bump, which would be ~3 bumps per week.
Also disallow removal of prices. A market place isn't a market place if you don't have a market prices for parts.
I'd also ban people who ask for little bullshit parts on the WTB section. I hate seeing clutter for some dude wanting flywheel bolts because he wants to save $5 and bumps it repeatedly.

Eh...who cares. If you really need something, you'll search for it. If you're too dumb to do that or too lazy to go thru the pages to browse...then go fuck off.

Bit.ly shortens the link which means more room for more characters.

Roughly a little under two hours if I recall. And about 3.5 hours to catch up on everything else I missed. :dead:
