Wssp Zilvia, i ordered a type x front bumper and have been reading threads about how to install the bumper probably recently. needing most of the support brackets and all.. but i havent ordered any of the support brackets yet due to my fmic. I had to customly fabricate my chuki bumper for it to fit.. & am scared if i order the support brackets it wont fit with my fmic..

Has anyone had this problem with the type x? If so what brackets did u guys keep on with the fmic.. & will my chuki uppper bracket fit the type x?

Any response will help, sorry for the noob questions..

No problem, just custom crash bar that clears the bumper and intercooler

What intercooler kit you running?

Chuki support fits with 180sx bumper... dont know what your talking about

As far as FMIC, you need to toss out the support. The trim and support braces are a must for the 180 front bumper, or else its going to look like ass.. Considering your from Socal, please go West covina Nissan and get the required parts for install.

Im talking about the chuki upper bracket.. and what type of support do you mean for the fmic? everything thats holding it up right now is a necessity..thanks on the tip with west covina ill go check it out

The crash bar doesnt support the bumper. It just protects the intercooler and clears it. You can use the upper center support. But for the sides you will need the 180sx kouki extensions and brakets . Frsport might have that stuff too

Theres gaps and fitment issues when you dont have them.

Almost ever Chuki component works. See what works and remove what doesn't. Sure there will be some sagging but if you want tight bumper fitment, you'll need every part that the JDM bumper comes with.
