95 S14 Driver side door lock?

I just had an alarm installed and power door locks installed. For some reason the driver side door will not lock? It's been like this since I had the car, if you lock it from the inside and close the door it will not lock. You can pull the door handle and it will open? Same thing with the alarm and power door locks installed. I have to lock the door with the key but I can unlock it with the alarm???

yeah its still the same. Can't lock drivers door unless you use the key. If you lock it on the inside the outside handle overrides the lock and opens the door.

Take off your door panel and look at the lock/cables while you lock, unlock, and pull the handle. Something probably isn't hook up properly.

I'll check that out. My old 92 Sentra SE-R and 91 NX2000 did the same thing. The driver side door wouldn't lock unless you held the handle after you lock it from the inside and closed the door. I thought it was some nissan thing that this car was doing too.
