Hey guy how's it going. so I'm a long time member but a noob to rb's I'm deciding on getting an rb20 or 25 i already searched on these and i kno most people opinions. i have the money to just put the engine in and mod it over time and the s13. I'm gonna do the swap myself. never did one before only changed oil and brakes on cars before but anywasy i have done a lot of research on other fourms and this one and found out a lot of info thanks for that but abrelot of fourms have abbreviations on the rb post on every fourm i been on i would just like to know what the abbreviations mean and what they are thanks. and if there a post of this then my bad

If all you've done is brakes and oil...RB swap isnt for you. It's more complicated than an SR swap and cost more due you needing mount kits and a custom driveshaft.

I was going to buy the mounts and drive shaft from micknney motorsports. and i have no doubt that its going to be complicated but you learn by doing right. and i want to do it myself i want to learn

Dude... RB swaps are awesome... I'm from Hanford- miss home; but NOT the stupid emissions BS... Hopefully you have avenues for emissions.

And it has begun...Mckinney mounts are definitely not the best option for mounts.

You wont learn by just doing, you need to do alot of reading. You can start with this...

When you're done reading all that, i suggest reading thru other peoples RB25 swap/builds. Will give you an idea on what to watch out for and what pitfalls people has gone thru.
