Under 5k for a 95 with a clean title with no visable
Issues is a good buy imho
But it has mods and upgrade suspension just an added bonus
I a heavy modded zenki
But love my kouki better
I guess the real questin you need to ask yourself
Do you like zenki or kouki?
Good luck
FYI I work over by opa licka airport if you need anything

Guessing theyre saying you shouldve posted it in the "Florida People Speak Up" thread. maybe someone there can help with the true history of the car.

It's funny man I bought and boosted my first car and didn't need to post a thread until after I boosted it.

And to answer your question if you have to ask these kind of questions the only car you should be buying is a nice new car with a warranty

wow bmar. buy the damn car if you want it or don't buy it. do your research and you will figure out what is good, bad, worth more, worth less, etc. i think you should buy a honda or stock 240 personally so you can learn because i feel you are going to kill yourself trying to jump straight into a turbocharged car..
bmar19
07-17-2013, 06:03 PM
lmao you should ask first i have a 94 z28 ai heads and cam 9inch rear, built t56, block bored .30 over ..... front wheels get off the ground lol im new to boost so ALL I WANTED WAS YOUR GUYS THOUGHTS lol idk how many times i have to ask lol i did research just curious what you 240 experts thought....btw it doesnt just go straight suspension is done for auto cross...so DJ21o3 youd kill yourself in my car...be careful when you throw things out lol thats if you know what i just said up there :keke: :2f2f:

and yeah i feel like just starting stock...or maybe one with suspension only but thats it lol

I've been in a 9 second Monty, torquey V8's are completely different than a turbo car. have you been on a 2 stroke and a 4 stroke dirt bike before? That is the best example. one is a lot of torque all the way through, the other seems innocent and then bends you over and gives it to ya. lol If you like the car, buy it. a couple hours of research should give you the main things to look for and if you have searched as much as you say, you should have an idea if its worth buying or not. in the end, you are the one that can personallry check out things that we cant see and know about. You are also the one that will be fixing it, so go over the car in person.
I still recommend buying a stock one regardless because everyone knows the only way to get stuff done right is do it yourself.

thats what im thinking but i can get it for 4k and it has all that suspension done..ill swap in a rb later ..... my only question is about the carfax like i stated is odometer roll back a big deal and 6 owners...will i have problems insuring and getting it on the street with the dmv...thats all i dont know lol and what i need help with
DJ 21o3
07-17-2013, 06:27 PM
well is sounds like you are going to do quite a bit to the car so odometer roll back shouldnt matter. I am looking at a car with 220k miles on it because i know by the time im done with it, almost all of the car will be back at 0. lol insurance shouldnt be a problem, as long as people stop drifting these into every obsticle possible or it might go up a lil for everyone.

Question is, how well was it rebuilt? Better yet, KA-T and not tuned? Sounds like a recipe for another rebuild.
DJ 21o3
07-17-2013, 06:47 PM
that is true... KA-Ts can be bullet proof, but only if done right. once again, buy a stock car. lol
bmar19
07-17-2013, 07:25 PM
lol rebuilt with eagle pistons, cp rods arp bolts metal gasket.... hes a mechanic at a performance shop he just put the turbo on 2 weeks ago and hasn't got around to tuning....honestly with out the motor wouldn't this be worth it regardless just for the suspension? think the insurance would be more than my z28 lol? i hope not
imma just daily it instead of the camaro gas is crazy...drive it easy and just save for a nice rb lol but that suspension caught me attention !! lol

A Ruined 240. Dirty. its been touched in a bad way. You cannot "undo" that sort of thing because the original equipment is missing or modified.
Best way to buy a 240sx is all original. That way, you know exactly whats been done to it.
also, low mileage helps.
Heres a perfect example:
http://zilvia.net/f/cars-sale/517666-1995-nissan-240sx-all-original-no-accidents-no-rust-florida-car-gg.html
Untouched, Low miles, Clean as stock. Pictures of the entire frame/chassis, which you RARELY see in good condition like that. Bumpers have never been off. Florida its whole life, no rust.
IF I decided to modify a car like that, I would go S15/six speed. Cheap, reliable, drops right in, easy to do in just a few days back on the road boosting and the car will still be just as clean and straight.

Theres no reason to buy an untouched 240. Your going to molest it anyway. If your not then dont buy a 240 at all. If youre gonna use it like its suppose to be used... offer 4.5 and take it for 5k.

Alright I'm going to be nice now and answer your questions though I really think you made up your mind you just want someone to tell you it's a decent deal. Which it sounds like it is. There now go buy it. With that said the suspension on the car is really not that great of quality. But it will more than work for you.

You cannot "undo" that sort of thing because the original equipment is missing or modified.
CO-SIGNED. Seriously, your absolute best route is to find a bone stock car and do every modification yourself. You have no idea what the previous owners have done or what corners they've cut. I pray to the Nissan gods that you actually heed this advice, because I learned that lesson the hard way.
