My friend just got done swapping a new ka into his car and its running like garbage. It starts up fine and idles great for a few seconds then tries to die. I can save it if I pump the throttle and it'll rev up fine but ten it wants to die again. Anybody have any ideas? I've tried new ecu, fuel rail, and fuel pump. Trying to get this car running ASAP!

Check your vacuum lines for a leak or they got mixed up possibly.

Check you TPS and pigtail and the MAF as well.

Swapped a known working tps in, checked for vacuum leaks, and checked Maf voltage and still nothing.

Are the injectors opening right? I'd probaly go with a very dirty iacv

Your timing is off.

My IACV was causing me some idle issues.
Its fairly easy to remove, so it would be worth checking out.
One thing to note if you replace it or clean it.
The ecu will need some time to relearn the IACV parameters.
After I swapped mine, my car was still idling all over the place, but after letting the car run for a while and after a few drive cycles, it was back to normal.

I've swapped the tps, Maf, fuel rail and injectors, iacv, an I've checked the timing around 10 times.
