I found a VH45DE swap w/ parts for $2200.

Info:

I had planned to put this engine into my 240sx but I have sold the shell, so whats left is the entire engine swap and parts for 240sx.

The VH45de comes from a 94 Infiniti q45, which is the best year to get the engine from. The engine was compression tested when it was pulled and tested out great in every cylinder. I have a pic of each cylinder being tested if you'd like to see.

I've done a lot of clean up to the engine, and it was very clean inside upon opening it up.

This swap includes:

Entire Xcessive vh45de to s13 swap kit: Engine mounts, Trans mounts, 1pc driveshaft, P/S relocate, alternator relocate, Transmission adapter plate, shifter relocate kit.

VH45de from 94 q45 with full engine harness and ecu

6speed transmission from a 96 300zx twin turbo, was sold to me warrantied to be in working condition

Whats left and what you would need to purchase:

-Mazworx headers, or your own custom
-custom exhaust for header back
-timing cover replacement, new covers are included
-patch oil pan, has small drip leak
-custom wiring modifications from the harness
-any other modifications you wish to do or are required for the swap (note: NO frame modifications are necessary to drop this engine in, the kit is designed so it will drop right in. The ONLY shell modification you need to do is cut a hole in the hood or space it to clear the intake after it has been dropped into the bay.)

All for $2200. I'm really thinking of selling/parting out my SR and going for this. I've always wanted a V8 swap and the VH45 is badass. Nissan muscle.

What do you guys think?

300zx twin turbo was only 5speed.

the kit alone is worth $500

The engine isn't worth that much

But the transmission... well you can get that for about $300 depending.

so really you are being ripped off.

if the wiring harness was plug-n-play and it came with headers then it would be a deal. But then again if that persons swap came along that far, well then it would be safe to say it would be in their car and on the road......
