i have an almost stock rb25 s2 in my 89 s13 w/ fmic,maual boost controller,walbro 255cc wide mouth,fpr,3in down pipe no cat or muffler,mishimoto radiator dual puller fans ,and wire specialties harness.
it drives fine for a bit then it wants to die when i come to a stop . i look up the code on my laptop it was the maf ,so i went autozone and got a new one
seemed to work good for a wile ,i did a fat burnout then decided to refuel. i mix 91 with turbo 108 3ounces per gal brings your octane up 7 points. anyway i went for a drive and it stared doing the same broblem as befor i got the new maf this time it would hardley go boost going up and down.the timing gauge was going haywire ..codes are 55 no error . heres what i think it could be . back pressure in the exhaust ,o2 senser ,fpr setup ,fuel pump clog, timing, i need your help .this is my last chance

nope the code 12 maf comes up even with the new one.it will drive good for 5 min then it dies when i come to a stop . just cleaned my fuel pump and redid my fpr i had the lines backwords butt still same problem. can the o2 pull up the maf code?

my times up i gotta sale it :eek:

MAF wiring then...does it idle better when you unplug the maf?

He said it did run better with the maf unplugged^^

when it starts to idel up and down after i drive it .. i unpluged the maf and bam idel came back.. i paid 450 for the wirering harness i will be pisted if it where

could the RB25 ECU get set off by driving the car hard for the first 30miles or so when one clears code .. I don't understand why my maf sensor err code keeps popping up
