View Full Version : Ultimate Vehicle Security Group Buy
Broadfield

There has been some interest lately on Zilvia for a baller security system... and I'm here to help. This group buy will require only 5 members or more to succeed but you must have at least 50 posts. The ultimate security package will include the following items:
Viper 3706V 2-way security system
VSM250 GPS SmartStart
506T Audio Glass Break Sensor
520T Battery Backup System
507M Digital Tilt Sensor
509U Ultra Sonic Sensor
The ultimate security system will provide the following features and I'm sure a slew that I'm forgetting:
Rechargeable LCD remote with 2-way confirmation feedback and trigger alerts from up to 2000 feet.
Dual stage impact sensor.
Will monitor all entry points of vehicle: doors, hatch/trunk and hood.
Built-in starter kill.
Legendary 5-tone Viper siren.
Lock, Unlock and trunk/hatch release outputs.
Multiple auxiliary outputs.
Will detect the sound of breaking glass.
Will detect air disturbance in vehicle... so detects motion.
Will detect if the vehicle is lifted 1 degree over the default angle of when the vehicle was armed.
Battery backup will kick-in when main power is lost from the vehicle. It will also trigger the alarm if power is lost from the vehicle.
GPS SmartStart will allow full control of the security system from your smart phone app, from any distance as long as you and the vehicle have cell coverage.
You will receive text messages on your smart phone when the security system is triggered.
You will be able to track your vehicle directly from the app via Google maps. You can track the progress of the moving vehicle by simply tapping the refresh button, as often as you like, on the map. You can choose from satellite imagery mode or standard map mode.
NOTE: All features above are assuming that the install is done properly and that all of those features are installed/connected. So if you do not have power locks in the vehicle, then the Viper obviously cannot control your locks unless you add actuators... which I sell;)
NOTE: SmartStart modules require a yearly service plan. The GPS SmartStart is $69/year. So pretty cheap in my opinion... that amount of money can easily be spent during one long night at a bar.
NOTE: If you would rather have the Viper 5706V(adds remote start), then we can simply add $50 to your price.
So if all of this sounds worth $459 shipped, then lets do it!
Since I am only requiring 5 people to make this happen, and I have a lot of interest already, we are going to let this ride for 2 weeks. I will require payment in full by the end of the 2 weeks. If you commit to this and do not pay at the end of the 2 weeks, then you will forever have Broadfield hate your guts:) If we get 5 people to commit before the 2 weeks are up, then you can feel free to pay early and I will get it shipped out early. However, the group buy will still remain open for those that want to get in on it beyond the required 5 people.
Please post if you want to commit to the ultimate security system and I will add you to the list. Absolutely do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions. I like my customers to be informed!

You can't really compare them... the 5901 has remote start and the 3303 does not. The 3303 is essentially the 5901 without the remote start and without the 1-mile range.

I do t feel as if mine has a mile range , is the auto start an add on for the 3303 ? Also how much could you do the 5901 for in a package like this ?

All advertised ranges are "open-ranges"... so they typically will not get that in real world situations. The 5901 was discontinued some time ago... it was replaced by the 5704V. Which if you notice I actually have a note about that in the orignal post... it would be an additional $40. You do not want to "add" remote start unless you just have no other choice. You would simply just buy the system that has remote start built-in.

I do not have a writeup, but a member on here does that I help make sure it was correct. It's for an S14... not sure what car you have!?!

No, it will not be the same at all. Most of the wires that you need to tap into on the S13 are a different color than on the S14. With every purchase, I can email the customer a tech sheet that will inform you of the color, polarity and wire color of every wire needed for the install. You just need to contact me and let me know that you want the sheet emailed to you.
Is everything brand new , not Refurbished ?
Yes, everything I sell at my store is brand new and not B-stock etc.
Add me to the list for the 5704 package
Added to the list!

How much is a install for one of these generally?

I would say anywhere from $175 - $275 depending on the shop, region and vehicle. If it's a newer vehicle with data door locks etc, then you will also need to buy a data module.

So for a 2000 SLT GMC sierra would I need said module?
Also could I get remote start instead of the gps feature?

The 2000 does have the Passlock system on it, but it can simply be bypassed with a relay/resistor combo.
So what setup are you wanting exactly? Do you still want security with remote start or just remote start? And do you still want the SmartStart?... just the non GPS version?
Which is the best I want that one
The 3303V is the best security system. The 5904 is the best security/remote start system. You would simply add $140 to the group buy price if you want to upgrade to the 5904.

how does this compare to the clifford 50.7x?
Broadfield
06-20-2013, 10:39 PM
how does this compare to the clifford 50.7x?
Well, the 50.7X is discontinued... replaced by the 5704X... which is the same thing as the Viper 5704V... just with the Clifford remotes. So it doesn't compare to the Viper 3303V because the 3303V is security only. Hope that clears it up:)

Ok, that's perfect then because the money you are saving by not getting the GPS version you can apply towards the Viper system with remote start and it will the same price as the standard group buy. So it would be the Viper 5704V, VSM200 + all of the other sensors. It's the same thing JEDIs13 is getting.

How would I know if my car needs a data module? (2012 370Z)
I'm assuming you carry this as well?
Possible to remove the Smart Start from the order completely and replace with 5704 instead of 3303?
Thanks.

I am here to please.... and yes, you will absolutely need a module for a PTS vehicle. To be exact, you will need the DB-ALL. I also have a just released T-harness to make the install even easier. So the question is, are you going to install it or are you going to have a shop do it? Also, is it a manual or automatic trans? So if you want to swap out the 3303 and VSM250 for the 5704, DB-ALL and T-Harness then the difference would be $42. Which would bring the total down to $437. Please let me know if you have any other questions or want me to add you to the list.
NOTE: the other sick thing about the DB-ALL is that it will allow the OEM Nissan remote to arm/lock - disarm/unlock the 5704.

It's a 6MT and most likley will be having a shop to do the install. I'm not too good with car electronics.
Thanks for the pricing, once I find a reputable shop around my area, I'll let you know and send payment.
