Undecided about interior panels

not sure what I want the back of my hatch to look like. Definitely no back seat, but I was planning on having none of the back panels or speakers or anything until I started trying to picture it. Just kinda thinking out loud right now. Maybe just put the side panels back on. leave the bare floor since I already stripped off all of the sound deadener and am having the metal repainted to match the car. I thought it'd look better completely stripped with nice fresh paint, the autopower 4pt. and aluminum battery box. but maybe some trim panels would clean it up some.

Just an idea. You could put in some aluminium panels in place of the trim panels. Ever seen a drag car with the big alum. wheel wells. Like that. I know I've see a few cars, maybe even 240's like that.... I'll try searching when I have some time...

i was kinda thinking the same thing, but hadn't seen anyone else do it. Not sure if it's something I could make look nice myself, or call upon the help of a professional. Questions that this idea created were:
-Would it possibly vibrate really bad? -maybe put some dynamat on the back of each piece
-Would I leave it natural finish or paint it?
-Where could I buy good material to try doing it myself?

ehh, whatever. just kickin around some thoughts.

Personally, I wouldn't attempt it myself. I'd want it to look nice and knowing me I'd screw it up...
OR, you could take out all the panels, spray the metal with bedliner. Seen a few people do that too...

Either way, if I turned my car into an all out race car I'd consider doing one of these things...
