View Full Version : help! s13 squealing behind motor

hello my name is dakota and this is my first time on this site but i have a 93 ka24de and the noise isnt there when i start it just when i drive it a mile or so. its coming from the back or behind the motor and its a high pitched squealing that wont go away no matter what i do. even when i push clutch pedal in or anything. but if i bump the gas it will quiet. please help this is so annoying. thanks in advance

pilot bearing might be bad.

Strange location, its for sure not the belts and if its not does it sound like that type of squeal? Also auto or manual or 5spd swap?

its a factory manual. and no its not a belt for sure. but its a high pitch squeal and when you shut it off it does it for another 3-5 seconds

Its gotta be something vacuum related.

Where in PA are you located? I'm thinking it's the throwout bearing.
