When building a motor with a blown head gasket, what does Zilvia think about the necessity of replacing the rod bearings and main bearings as well as rings. I hear that that milk shake you get with a blown head gasket can cause your bearings to have premature failure after just replacing the HG and head bolts.
At this point I was planning to replace the following:
Head Gasket (apexi)
Head Bolts (ARP)
Main & Rod bearings (Probably ACL)
Rings
And I was planning to deck the head. whats the likelihood of the block needing to be decked upon typical HG failure?
