paint looks fine.. the wheels look like shit..any for them to even remotley look good you need to lower that bish. the ride height on this is so high another car can drive under it.

Those aren't exactly expensive coilovers.

But then again at 17 I wasn't balling out of control.

Just build your car as best you can and buy USED. So you can sell it for the same amount you bought it for, maybe a little bit more to make a small profit.

While you have okay parts on your car, continue to save up to buy the good shit you really want.

Just don't rattlecan your car and everything will be alright.

It's not about ballin out of control. It's about being smart with your money and buying quality parts instead of settling for junk. Sure it may take a bit longer to get said parts, but it's worth it in the end. Trust me, I've been around, and although I havent personally bought cheap parts for my car, I've seen plenty of guys just like you starting out, buying crap parts. They always come back complaining a few months later about the quality or something broke. Do it once, do it right. It'll save you tons of money in the long run vs constantly changing up your setup.

That doesnt mean shit. Its about having the discipline to save your money for a nice set of coilovers (id recommend Fortune Auto 500's), and a nice set of wheels. You can find killer deals on used wheels in the market place. Instead of waiting 3 weeks to buy megans and XXR's, try waiting 3 months to buy Fortunes and some Works, you will be MUCH happier in the end.

If you're gonna get XXR's, why not get the 535's? They have a slightly lower offset, weigh the same & haven't been whored to death yet...

I'm still looking I like the 535s but I also like the 521s a lot

It's the lifestyle brother. live it, love it. You'll learn one way or the other to go brand name parts and to NEVER go ebay parts.
Best of luck to you noob. <3

No, not true.

Close, but not quite.

How can you even compare Stance with Fortune Auto 500? It's like comparing Little Caesars Vs. Papa John's.

Excuse me for bad of example but you get the idea.

Wheels are persons preference 100 percent.

Fortune auto >Stance > Megan > Godspeed

Rather be the left side of that spectrum

Words with light. Do things right or do things twice. The best way is set up some goals and do what ever it takes to reach them even though it takes time. Good things require good time. If at first I would of had some defined goals I would of had a sick a f.. engine, way better wheels and everything else. Like for example, instead of buying my first wheels, Rota Grids and now some Gramlights 57DR's I could of save all that money and bought some baller wheels.

looks pretty good, though my favorite thing for making wheels black in to use plastidip if your on a budget, or get them powder coated if your a baller. I found that painting wheel with rattle can can eventually wear off, but plastidip is much stronger. Just my 2 cents but looks good. Im all about the blacked out look

Second that. You can't beat the plastidip look for that cheap and it's easy. And they have tons of cool colors now too. But powder coat if you can is very clean

Everyone preached it but here is one more to add to the pot.

XXR's, whatever. If you're going to missile the shit out of the car and you don't really have money, whatevs. Chances are if you're new at the game you're going to smash into something. If you saved a little longer, you can get a used set of RPF1's or something respectable that'll handle the abuse. Check out the used wheel thread. The fact you said XXR's makes me automatically think you want 16x8 -200 or something retarded.

As for coils, don't skimp out. I applaud you for thinking of buying new but in your case where you don't have a lot of money to throw around, look around for a good quality used coil. Someone said Fortune's which I'd agree with. Another coil I use and personally like is PBM which isn't everyone's cup of tea but I love 'em on both of my cars. Buy things right the first time rather than buying something shitty with the intentions of buying something better later on. You lose a lot of dough going that route.

So, with that being said, buy quality once than buying shit and upgrading and having to spend money twice which in the long run will cost you more.

I tried to post with the least amount of douchebaggery as possible.

Just a little update, I ended up getting pbm coils, and xxr 527s 17x8.25 all around and I love it. The stiffness is great, and the wheels are good for now until my turbo setup is done. Afterwords I'm looking at some Work M1Rs or some Meisters still looking tho. 65449
