For sale is a 1993 Nissan 240sx with a Skyline GT-T RB25 NEO engine and a 350z 6 speed transmission. To my knowledge it is the only combination like that to ever be successfully completed. This is one of the most well done RB to S13 swaps you will ever find. There has been no expense spared going into this build and it shows.
The car was built at Vision Performance in Hiawassee GA, by Ron Ewerth (driver of the Drift Emporium titian V8 G35) and myself. After the build it was tuned and finalized by Chris Anderson of Balanced Performance in Sugar Hill GA, on an AEM EMS. It makes 462whp and 383 ft lb torque on 93 octane pump gas at 19psi. That is a relatively low power number for what this motor is capable of on C16, or E85. If that fuel were available in my area I would have used it instead and thus increased boost pressure and be in the 520hp area. This motor set has made 640whp when it was tuned on C16 at 23psi when it was used in a Formula D car. This is a daily driver safe tune, anyone could jump in it and drive it anywhere. There are no issues with it at all. This is a ready to rock, complete race machine that will embarrass superbikes on the street.... I pulled away from an older Yamaha R1 at 160mph the other day..
As far as the engine goes, its the bullet proof RB25 NEO iron block with the RB26 crank, rods, pistons and a ROSS metal jacket harmonic balancer. Bottom end is stock, but tough as nails. It was rebuilt a few seasons ago and raced maybe 2-3 times, so it's still very fresh and has a ton of life. Has only used Royal Purple fluids. Its using the Tomei Poncam exhaust camshaft, Tomei adjustable cam gear, Brian Crower springs and retainers, NGK-R spark plugs, and a Nismo oil filler cap. Exhaust is the twin scroll setup with the Full Race twin scroll manifold (a $2,300 manifold!), dual Tial wastegates with custom dump pipes, Garrett GT3076R turbo that is oil and water cooled, DEI titanium turbo blanket and downpipe wrap, 4" stainless exhaust back from the downpipe and a vacuum fitting on the downpipe to help the flow of the catch can. Greddy intake manifold, Tial blow off valve, Greddy front mount intercooler, Greddy profec b-spec II boost controller, K&N air filter with custom fit air filter shield. Fuel delivery is a Walbro 255 fuel pump, RC 555cc injectors, JGY Customs fuel rail, Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator with gauge, AN style fittings and hoses. Koyo radiator, dual low profile fans on relay, Greddy radiator cap, 180* thermostat. Everything is tuned on the AEM EMS system. We used a wiring specialties RB to S13 wiring harness for the swap. Everything is nice and tidy, no bullshit wires hanging out all over the place.
Transmission setup is the 350z 6 speed with a twin disc OS Giken clutch and Driveshaft Shop custom cut driveshaft. Recently put in a new Exedy clutch master cylinder. The differential is a KAAZ 2-way, so it will make that clunking sound going around tight corners and parking lots. All the mounts, adaptor plates and linkages have been machined in house and are completely one off. You cant buy this setup anywhere.
Interior is in really good shape for its age. All the trim is armor alled, and kept clean. It has the Sparco sprint seats on adjustable slider rails, Sparco 3 point harnesses, flawless no-crack dash, manual windows, triple gauge pod in the A/C vent and double on the pillar, Autometer pro-comp ultra lite gauges with blue LED's (boost, wideband A/F, volt, oil psi, water temp), heat works great, no air conditioning, defrost works great, wipers work, all lights function properly, has a stereo with aux port and two front door speakers, 180sx style gauge cluster (digital speedometer does not work), tachometer has been calibrated. The rear seat and plastics have been removed, and the battery is relocated to the trunk.
Suspension setup is pretty basic. TEIN springs, KYB struts, SIKKY front 32mm sway bar, oem skyline R32 rear strut bar, Greddy front strut bar. It handles really well. The tires are very grippy and will not oversteer without putting your foot down. The car is not slammed so you can still drive over speedbumps and inclines without scraping.
Exterior wise it's in super clean shape. The paint is only a few years old and it has never been in any accidents. The roof and trunk lid are wrapped in a carbon fiber vinyl. The front lip is the Xenon style. Headlights work great and are the hyper white HIDs. Bumper lights are painted with the night shade. Kouki taillights and RPS13 center Kevlar garnish. Chuki sideskirts. The front left fender has 2 very small dings caused by an animal running across the road.. damn opossums.. Rear bumper has some scrapes from the previous owner. I have plans to do the rocket bunny SIL80 full body kit with new paint and a different wheel setup by the end of the year if it doesn't sell. Obviously I will be asking more at that point.
The wheels are the 5 lug 18x9.5 MB Battles with Nitto NT05 tires, 12.75" Stoptech slotted front brake rotors with Z32 calipers and extension brackets, EBC bluestuff pads, aluminum blue lug nuts, Stoptech slotted rear rotors with Z32 calipers, 5 lug hubs with new wheel bearings, braided brake lines all around, cable e brake, 300zx BMC. I have 2 extra front Z32 to S13 braided lines if anyone is interested.
I also have the oem RB26 valve/coilpack/timing cover set and that are sanded and ready to be painted with the exact color matching cherry red that came on the GTR34 RB26s. As soon as they are finished I will put them on and add more pictures. I have the skyline GTR34 engine garnish also.

I am very interested in knowing what all was involved to mate the 350z tranny up to an RB series. I've heard rumors of it, but I will be replacing my RB20 tranny shortly and would like confirmation.

I like what you have done.
The wretched part about the s13 is if you ever decide to sell; people generally lack the comprehensive analytic required to appreciate craftsmanship and care.
Perhaps more so that the general populous of our community would be considered teens and or still live with their parents.
Either way, I dare say that you've done a marvelous job and I loathe the notion that you intend to sell.
Good luck brother.

Thank you, that's pretty much where I'm at now. After the new turbo I decided it would be impossible to ever recoupe even a fraction of what I've put into it so its getting set up for a full FD spec race car, cage and all. I'm just going to throw money at it bit by bit until its done.

I wouldn't say easy, no.
The valve and coilpack covers were just simply bolt on procedure, but the timing cover had to be PRECISELY cut with a 3" hole saw to fit correctly. It took a good amount of time to rig up a template and make the final decision on where the hole needed to be.

Looks good sir!
For anyone else interested, I ended up talking to carl about the 6 speed trans swap and bought the kit from JWT along with the needed rb25 auto bellhousing. I may sell it if anyone else is interested, for $1500 plus shipping. Sorry to thread jack, just wanted to update everyone and let them know you can buy it now.
Another question for the OP. The motor, did you have custom pistons made for the increased stroke of the 26? The NEO head and 26 rotating assembly is not compatible unlike the S1 and S2 rb25. The higher lift , longer duration cam and domed pistons of the 26 will overlap. The NEO factory pistons are dished and have a shorter compression height.
Anyway, let me know! Interested to hear the process.
Ps: How do you like the gearing of the VQ trans? It's very similar to the r34 GTR 6 speed.

As many have informed me, the 350z 6 speed conversion is now available for purchase. So I may not have the only setup like that but I'm sure it was one of the first.
The bottom end of my motor is a stock rb25 neo bottom end. I was under the impression that the rb25 and rb26 used the same rotating assemblies. I have never really put that much thought into it to be honest. I was always planning on using the tomei 2.8 stroker assembly if it ever needed to be replaced.
I like the gearing well, there is the usual 1:1 chatter in 5th gear but other than that its a great transmission.

Yes that guy two posts up is a tool, if he watches FD then he will see their blown LS FRS competeing in the series, if you see it in person then you will see no money was spared he was just at FD texas with me and Danny George. As for this i think they are in no rush to sell it. If you look at the V8 that was in it before and now this, you can see this is no shortcut swap like 80% of people do. Now it is a little high but cash in hand i guarentee the price would be dropeed some.

its been a while! since the last post, all the work has been done and completed but now im looking at rebuilding the bottom end. was ready to go to the dyno for the final tune and right before we left i noticed some white smoke and after a leakdown found out there are 2 cylinders bad. looks like its bad rings, so i am ordering a set of CP pistons and ACL bearings for a fresh block.. should be back from the machine shop in a week or so. then we are back in business.

Now it is a little high but cash in hand i guarentee the price would be dropeed some.
thank you. we didn't have the best luck in Texas, but i wasent driving ...
at this point i am pretty much buried alive in this car, so selling it is hardly a thought right now. maybe in 3 years after seeing it in my garage everyday ill think about it, until then im not entertaining any offers. but i would still trade for either a H1 hummer or a 69 dodge charger R/T.
this is one of the cleanest S chassis you will ever see.. no expenses spared, no shortcuts, no bullshit. i have another RB25 NEO block i am building now. will have CP pistons with fresh rod bolts and bearings. Cometic headgasket and new ARP headstuds. will bore over too.

For sale or trade: A 1993 Nissan 240sx S13 with a JDM RB25 NEO engine and 350Z six speed transmission. I have owned this vehicle for four years and have spent a ton of time and money to get it where it is. You may have seen videos of this car on YouTube; it has had 3 different motors during the period I've owned it. The motor that's in the car now has been fully built and is brand new. There is over $20,000 in the motor swap alone and that is what I am selling the entire car for. The car runs and drives, excellent. The exact power/tq number is unknown because of incorrect readings from a dyno, but it is tuned and ready for a new owner. As you can tell by the pictures, this is not your typical craigslist S-Chassis. You will not find a cleaner S13 with this build level, anywhere. All work has been done at a professional racing shop in Georgia or at a RB specialist in Florida. Ill be adding more pictures frequently so keep checking.
I am considering title for title trades valued at $20,000. I am most interested the Cheverlot/GMC LBZ Duramax 2500/3500 crew cab trucks. Title is clean, in hand.

Good luck with the sale!

Enjuku Racing is where I bought all the parts from, but what you see in the trunk area is not something you can just go out and buy. It takes time, expierence, and a little outside the box thinking to make something like that turn out as well as that did. Hence the term, built not bought.

I would like to clarify something. The CASH price is $17,000. The TRADE value stays the same. Just because I lower the cash price does not mean I will accept any less in trade value of $20,000. That's more than reasonable given the level of this build and quality. Please consider that before making an offer. Thank you.

It's just more practical for me. I love rb's and skylines, but even owning a Subaru I have to drive an hour and a half or more to find a shop that even knows where to start for basic shit. I had a friend that worked at a shop right down the road from me, took my first s13 there for an sr swap because i worked out of town. The owner immediately comes out and says, what the hell is that thing, throw a v8 in there and be done with it..... Should have listened to him then lol

That would be a great point, if this car needed to be worked on in the future. This isn't some zilvia grade, slapped together, BS garage build that will run for 5 seconds to get the new owner down the road and then fall apart. The motor in this thing is literally brand new. Not even 6 hours of total run time. I'm selling a complete, 110% package deal here. If you're interested in the car at all, I strongly recommend you make an offer. Im trying to close on a house and will consider making a deal.

I get what you're saying and believe me I've considered making an offer several times but it will need something at some point any way you swing it and I'm trying to get away from that otherwise I'd just keep my Subaru instead of trying to sell it. I'm not complaining it's not a v8, it's well put together, but it's impractical FOR ME in my area because I'm surrounded by rednecks that don't know anything other than mustangs and camaros. Aside from that I want a turbo v8 anyway so it all works out.

Honestly bro, I'm not tryin to fu** with you, but why not learn how to work on it yourself? And a piston engine is a piston engine. If the local mechs throw their hands up at an RB as opposed to a big blocl chevy, then you shouldnt go to them in the first place.
And we wont even talk about your bull shit STi engine in terms of ease of maintenance.

I've been getting a lot of questions about the tune on the car. At the time the motor was being built I had planned to make 900+ horsepower on race fuel and methanol. During that process I found a house to buy and my priorities changed. I decided to sell the car and use that money to put into the house. Instead of having the car tuned on race fuel which is very expensive and would limit availability to potential buyers, I decided to have it tuned on 93 octane pump gas that anyone can get. As it sits, it runs excellent and is safe and reliable enough to drive anywhere you want to go. I specfically did not want to make a huge amount of power on a car I am trying to sell because that might scare some people off. A lot of the younger generation is interested in this car and a 900 horsepower rocket might not be the best idea for a kid learning to drive. Now, I'm not saying the car is underpowered, at all. Its ridiculously fast. Z06's, vipers, hellcat's, ferrari's, etc.. none of them stand a chance. Needless to say, the potential for this car is huge. With the right tire setup it could easily break 9's in the quarter mile. Its completely up to the buyer to decide how much power they want to make. As far as how much power it currently makes, I can't say for sure. The dyno it was tuned on was not reading the power and torque correctly. It was tuned on a smaller turbo in the past and made 460whp. Its faster now than its ever been and is easily at 500whp.

explain something to me..
you created a new zilvia account and have made 2 posts, both here in this thread, to ask about buying the car....
clearly you didn't read the big bold letter'ed post just above that states "the car has been sold!!!!"
Why would you go to the trouble of filling out all the information boxes to make a forum account, when you could have easily found the answer you're looking for just a few posts up in bold letters?!?!
That is mind boggling to me and would really like to hear your thought process, if any, for using the internet.
Advice: not to be a dick, but if you're shopping for a car of that caliber in the future it would be in your best interest to represent yourself as someone who would be worth the time of negotiating a deal with. Even if I still had the car for sale, I wouldn't have replied to you at all.
Good luck in finding whatever car you're looking for.

Idk why you felt the need to go on this little rant all I asked is if u was still selling the car. I new to this app so I didn't see where it say that it was sold if so why would I ask [emoji848] And I don't see what was wrong with how I asked about your car I simply asked what was your price bc you already gave plenty of info about the car on zilvia. Then I gave u my number so we can discuss it further privately

Christ Almighty. Just FYI brah, if I was selling a car I cared enough for, bad grammar, obviously not reading posts, and the lack of effort to make a proper post alone would make sure I wouldn't be selling it to you. This ain't Craigslist.
