I have a 1992 s13 coupe 240sx, and I am in the process of building a nice sound system.

For starters I picked up a 12" Pioneer 2ohm subwoofer:

Pioneer 12" DualVoiceCoil 2Ohm Subwoofer TS-W309D2 - Best Buy (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Pioneer+-+12%22+Dual-Voice-Coil+2-Ohm+Subwoofer/5700917.p?id=1218682375383&skuId=5700917&ref=25&loc=NXT&srccode=cii_9324560&cpncode=30-193922330-2)

Now, I need EVERYTHING else.
I have basically no knowledge of this, all i know is I need 2 amps, New head unit full new speakers....

The main questions of this thread are as follow:
-Is this Doouble din kenwood headunit compatable with my car?

Kenwood - DPX300U (http://www.kenwoodusa.com/Car_Entertainment/In-Dash_CD_n_DVD_Receivers/Double_DIN_Receiver/DPX300U)

-What Amps should I look at? I was told by a buddy that 600 watt is enough
My main focus is really nice quality music.

-Which speakers would fit a 240sx 1992 coupe

I really appreciate any feed back, any questions I will gladly answer.
If you could provide links to products that would greatly help as well.

So, the space in the S13 dash i double din. It will fit as far as the length and width... But you have to check the depth and mounting angle. With 2 sets of RCA's behind the head unit there is not a whole lot of room.

Make sure if you buy speakers other than factory size, that you get spacers or adapters to fit.

You need to buy amps that match the subs and speakers you plan to use.
Always match things based on RMS power. Not peak/max.

Thanks guy, I appreciate the feedback.
I suppose I'm just going to go piece by piece,
weekly basis, you know the drill..

So nobody knows for certain whether that head unit will fit?
I am interested in getting a double din head unit.

All I really care about is AUX,
I will never use the radio,
I will never listen to CD.

*Broadfield, thanks! Could you recommend a head unit as well?
& All the things you linked, Are those compatible with the subwoofer I linked

Yes, double DIN will fit! Yes, the amplifier is good to go with the sub.... ASSUMING the sub you have is indeed a dual voice coil 2 ohm!!!!???!!!

That head unit is fine.
