I am going to paint my sr20 engine block. it's going into a red car. really don't want it to look ricey at all.

What color do you guys think?

I was thinking between black, gold, red, or a clean stock looking silver.

any opinions are appreciated!!

You can never go wrong with a nice clean silver coat. Red is by far, imo, the worst choice especially going into a red car.

Gold seems interesting though, I'll have to admit that. lol

It's your decision, just go for it.

only thing that worries me with gold is that it'll have to stay clean all the time. with oil and shit on it it'll probably look not good haha idk though

Just spray it black, no having to worry about cleaning then plus black kinda goes with everything.

Silver. Not chrome, but silver. That would look cleanest. Black will reflect the least amount of light if you're ever working in your own engine bay.
