First off, I have S14 SR. I was wondering if anyone ever used the hole where the coolant bleed screw was as a gauge port?
Tried searching and could not find any answers. Input anyone?

I haven't personally installed one, but it would probably work if you were to remove the neck, drill it out for a 1/8 npt tap, and tap it or get a water neck adapter.
Edit;

Yea it's easy to do.. I made a port right next to it on my sr. Works great. Check build thread if you desire photos

I got a water neck sandwich plate with an 1/8" port for under $30 online. I would go that route before drilling and tapping though I would probably leave the bleeder screw alone in case you need a quick way to let air out of the system in the future.
