hey guys im looking to run my sr20det redtop with safc2, I've read many people say not to run safc, others i know run them before and havent had problems. But point is, wll the safc work fine on my setup?
It has:
Fmic
3 inch exhaust w/ manifold and elbow
boosting 10psi
t28 turbo
stock injectors. (looking into running 550cc later)

You don't need an safc for your setup. Leave it as is.

And get a wideband before you get an safc.

Just remember this when using a safc.
It does not alter the fuel table. It alters the airflow signal going to the ecu. It will tell the ecu the motor is getting less air than it actually is and this in turn will cause you to run leaner. Or it can tell the ecu you are getting more air than you actually are and this will put you in airflow table that runs you richer.
All of this sounds fine I know. But by manipulating the airflow signal you are not just altering fuel you are altering timing as well.
The short of it is that yes you can tune somewhat with it but its not a very good way to do it. This isn't the late 90's anymore. There is much better options out there now a days. Make sure you have a WB before any tuning.

I would contact Martin of RS-Enthalpy and get a Tom tune from him.
