here are a few shots from the last couple autox events. i finally made the switch to slicks (v700 victoracers) and i used the M2 wheels for my race wheels. they've done well, they are light, wide, and have the friggen right offsets!! haha! so far, of 4 events, ive had a 3rd, a 2nd, then two 1st place finishs in DSP. it took a little while to get used to the tires, but im starting to get the hang of them. ive got divisionals next weekend, so that'll be a good gauge to see how well im doing. i had to swap out motors b/c i scratched a bearing on my old KA (lasted 197k miles!). it still has great compression, its just that since the valve seals are going out, they were leaking oil into the combustion chamber, and i had burnt off quite a bit of oil and didnt realize i was low. so it wasnt the motor's fault, i just hadnt paid enough attention, so that was my mistake. ive also noticed that the steering rack is starting to die. its most noticable with the slicks b/c they are so much stickier. i also altered some suspension settings. i stiffened the front sway bar up, and dropped some pressure out of the front tires to get it to rotate. its handling well so we'll see how i do next weekend. i should get some more good shots then as well... enough of that, here are the pics:

Good driving, nice finishes. IMHO, I like the new wheels better than the ones in your sig, but I've always been a black-wheels-on-white-car kind of guy. What are the specs on the wheels (width, offset, etc)?

Those wheels look nice! Its good to see you are doing well in DSP, I plan on making the jump to DSP sometime in the fall.
I know what you mean about the steering, with my R compounds, I can feel the steering lagging behind my movements in the tight sections and some slaloms.

ace: yeah, im running no toe in front, and a 1/2 degree negative in the rear. camber is set at 3* F, 2* R. ride height isnt adjustable, shock settings are on full stiff front and rear, sway bars (whiteline) are on full stiff front and rear. spring rates right now are RSR race springs (5/4.5), but im gonna be swtiching to GC's and Koni's sometime this summer. ill probably run 500/400 lbs springs then. that set up should work out really well! i need to get my alighnment redone, they are probably a little bit out of spec right now.
DS 240R: they are the 16" M2's, they are 16x7.5 +22 F, 16x8.5 +37 R great wheels!!
i hope to meet some of you guys at nationals... that'd rock!
