title says it all really
i cant figure out why my RPM gauge is not working properly.
I start the car and the RPM gauge just goes all the way to the other side and sits there, sometimes it sits at 6-8 RPMs while driving, sometimes it spikes/shakes randomly.
Its a stock KA24 no work done to it, everything original.
Anyone have any suggestions what I can do to fix it?

Go through the FSM and locate the RPM signal wire. I bet you have a broken wire/loose connection somewhere. You can also check the back of the cluster as well.

You people really need to learn to keep your mouth shut if you don't know what's going on. You're doing more harm to the community than good with your bullshit guesses that are obvious ploys to get someone to buy stuff you're selling.
OP this will fix your tach.

This is an extremely common problem on these.
JR_SS wins for actually being close. It is a loose connection, but it's in the cluster.
