My throw out bearing went out on my sr20det, i went to go buy a ka24det bearing and had it pressed on. I put everything back together and now my clutch pedal is alot easier to push down and either it wont go into gear at all (grinds) or i have to push really hard in order to go into gear. ( i used 3 quarts of 75-90 gear oil) a buddy and i tried to bleed the clutch and it seems there is air in the line but it looks like its the same amount of air everytime. We were bleeding it correctly. (Pump clutch, hold it down, release bleeder nipple, tighten bleeder nipple, pull up clutch pedal, repeat) we repeated this about 12 times and it seems its the same amount of air in the line everytime, and the clutch pedal is not getting any harder. What could cause this problem?

DId you remove the damper? if not remove it. Also it's been a while since I had an SR but I'm pretty sure it's 4 quarts to fill a SR tranny man.
You might want to double check that as well.

Google is your friend. If not you have an internal leak somewhere either your clutch master or slave cylinder also double check all line connections. I was recently having problems with my clutch as well and this is the first thing I checked. And as the member above suggested to me check your clutch forg and pivot ball as these are recommended to be changed if ever removing the transmission.

Since you don't know what it is you still probably have it so here is a copy and paste from another thread I commented, it will cut down on your bleed time and improve your pedal feel.

Here is a link to the DIY

Kool, alot of people don't know what that is and hook it up and it makes bleeding so much harder so I always ask first. Double check everythign and as Reline said check your master and slave.
And I double checked, i was right the SR and KA tranny's take 4 quarts of tranny fluild that also will cause gears to stick.

I add another quart, also i sont know why i cant get the air out of the system? Maybe there is a leak where air can get in but wouldnt i leak clutch fluid, because its not. I have a brand new slave on it. Tonight ill also install a new master.

Since your bleeding not necessarily, the air will just keep going in.
I once had it go in from the bleeder threads and we found that out after we replaced everything...
just a part of learning...
If you had the vacum pump it would be easier, jsut make sure the clutch never goes dry while doing it also because if it does your just letting air in that way as well
