j00 fools! there is air in the ps lines. what you do is open the ps resevoir, then get in the car and turn the wheel all the way left then all the way right. do it about 5-7 times. also make sure there is fluid in there, DUH! do all this while the car is OFF

might also be a lose belt. but if you're sure you tightened it up do what i explained.

1) why would air all of a sudden get in the system? and if it did, why would you just turn the wheel back and fourth without the compressor spinning while the car is on the ground? from what i've read, dont you have the car running and do this with the car in the air? (not that i have power steering so)

2) why tighten your belt, maybe its already tight. CHECK your belt.

3) sounds like low fluid - CHECK your resevoir.

from personal experience, i know you have to have the car off. if you have ever done it, it will not work when the car is on. trust me i've tried. i turned the wheel back and for with the car on for about 30minutes and it didnt do shit. when i read the repair manual, you are suppose to do it while it is off.

to me it sounds like there is air in the system. i dont know how but thats just what it sounds like. or it could be a loose belt.
