you got ripped off or something. i never had that problem when i installed mine. it had both plugs on the wheel. as for taking off the plugs from the s14 wheel, im sure you can do that but test to see how your s15 wheel feels first. my had an annoying "click" to it that i couldn't get rid of. so i ended up selling it for a nardi wheel.

I had a S15 wheel....but never had the chance to install it...sold it cause I need money. Anywho...I'm extremely confused at what your problem is and what your trying to do. I think you should test fit the S15...if my I'm correct...you have to slightly move the spiral cable hub to mate up with the S15 wheel. The airbag is not going to work and you will have to somehow connect to wire together inorder to get the horn to work. I'm only making these suggestions because I had to do them with my UK S14 steering wheel (actually got a UK S14 spiral cable too). But if your post is concerned about the airbag........its not going to work.

the wheel is on and fits fine... but i dont know what this spiral cable is you guys are talking about

the horn in the s14 wheel is like \ _ / with 4 screws

while the s15 one is \/ and 3 screws =/

what did ya guys do about the airbag plug/light/etc

how the hell did you guys not have a airbag + horn plug? mine plugged up fine. weird.

95kouki - btw..that reminds me, another thing to add to the list of things we did that was the same.

Well...Matt_240 said the harness should plug up fine. Don't worry about those screws....you have no need to tamper with them. The only thing I know that is different are the torx bolts that keep the horn/airbag onto the wheel....I believe the S15 is smaller.

ok, this is kind of a fruitless endevor

the stock usdm s14 airbag gas generator is too big for the s15 wheel so no airbag

and i think i might be able to swap the stock udsm horn into the s15 wheel by overlapping the bottom two mounting holes, making it into one

god this sucks, i should just get a nardi

wtf? no need to swap the airbag/horn...put on the S15 wheel knowing that you will not have a functionally airbag. What triggers the horn is a simple grounded wire. For some reason it will only work if the cruise control is hooked up. However you can simply splice a wire onto the horn wire before and after the black connector from the S14 harness.....does any of this make sense? Its raining and I'm too lazy to take off my wheel to show you :p

well....for you..your SOL...so you have to take out that LED bulb and hide it. As for me...my UK wheel simply plugged up and I reset the light.
