So I currently have a set of 18x9.5 rota P45R2's with a +15 offset which I love they fit my car perfectly, had to bang out the front wheel wells but I can get full steering lock and I love the fitment. Now my friend has an FD RX7 and has these 19x9 +43 work meister s1's. These have always been one of my favorite wheels and he wants to trade and have me throw $400 on top. Now right now I'm debating it because they're hella sunk because of the offsets and a little big (19's instead of 18's) but surprisingly they don't look as big as I thought they would because of the 2 step lip and smaller profile tire.

So right now if I trade it actually gives me the option to buy adjustable RUCA's and bring out my camber back to 0 instead of the current -5 and I could move the front's from -3 to 0 as well and then buy whatever spacers needed maybe a 30mm or so? I mounted the rear but I didn't get to mount the front because they don't clear the coilover unless I throw a spacer on which I don't have. The rear clears everything fine but will I have any issues up front with the 19's after I get a spacer on? They're not as wide as my current rims so turning shouldn't be an issue but will running 19's have any issues without tubs at all?

Here's some pictures for reference first picture is my car with all my rotas all around and second and third picture is rotas on front and the meisters in the rear.

19's are stupid on a coupe. Offset is garbage. Save your money and fix your body damage first. Then worry about getting legit wheels that are of proper sizing.

You have a brain, decide whether or not you really want 19s on your coupe and still have to run spacers. I will agree with killer 19s and such a sunken offset are stupid on a coupe, or really any S13. I don't like Rotas but they sadly look better than those Works without spacers.

Your wheels look nice, those rear wheels look retarded.

they look to be the same because you have ballon tires on your 18's. id trade the works are worth way more you could probably sell them for 1600 -1800 not on zilvia

I would stick with your 18's. Then you will have to change your setup alittle bit.

Personally, I would trade him, flip the meisters for $1500, then buy better wheels.

Or, if its the 3-piece, rebarrel them to make them fit better.

Your Rota setup looks much better. Unless you plan to re-barrel the Works, don't trade. Keep in mind you could sell those Meisters probably pretty easily for a profit though.

Ask yourself this OP, why does the other guy want to downgrade? because those wheels look like asshole.

You can't re barrel the meisters unfortunately or I would definitely do that. I'm still really tempted to get rid of the camber and space them out a little bit and who knows down the road I can sell them even and get something else if I really desire I'm just wondering if I'm gonna run into any problems with fitting 19's up front

See if you can run them again and drive around and see if anything rubs. I have a friend who was running 20s up front but they were a high negative offset and it still rubbed.

Thanks someone that finally sees what I see. I honestly think they look fairly good even being sunk in so once I zero out my camber and get spacers I'm thinking they're gonna look pretty good.

they will look good w a spacer, and if not, you can always sell them on a rx7 forum for more then what you have in them.

Are they real Works SP1? You should slap yourself for comparing real Works with Rotas.
I will trade, re-barrel the Works to -10, camper your car to -7 and slam your car to the ground.
If they are not real Works then don't trade and sell your wheels too.

Not bashing but it sounds like you're trying to get people to agree with you or give you positive reinforcement as it seems you've already made a decision in your head.

If you like the look and don't mind running spacers, trade him. It's your car, do what you want.
