I have had many wiring problems since i started my build almost 3 years ago. Ive looked all around to try and find a way to diagnose the problem on my own with no luck. Im going to start from the beginning i originally sent my harness out to be re pinned i have an s14 sr20 in a 95 s14. I got it back and it was running fine for about a year(only drove it about 10 times that year and started it once a week) the last time it was running the car was so low the tires ripped threw the wire harness connected to the fuse box in the engine bay. At that point my starter also went. I changed the starter fixed the wires and then i had no spark and no fuel. I hard wired my fuel pump. Changed my engine fuse box\ harness to one out of a 96 2 plugs are there that have nothing to connect to. Found out i fried my ecu. Bought a new one tried to see if i had spark and that one blew too in the same spot. I checked the pinnout and where it burnt out is the ignition. So i must have wired the fuse box right? But because that fried in the same spot does that mean the ignition is the problem? And how do i fix it ive checked for shorts ripped out the dash nothing is crossed, i ran grounds stright to the battery, and then changed the the interior harness from the 96 got a 3rd ecu and burned out in the same spot again im running out of ideas on how to fix this im even willing to rewire the entire car if i could find some type of guide on how to do so so everything is fresh. Any ideas or insite will be appreciated.

Ok you did alot of work for nothing.

It the tires ripped through the harness you need to fix the harness.

Pull off the fender and drop the harness down, take everything off and expose the wires. Find out which wires are broken and run jumps, make sure to shield all bare wire with electrical tape. You need to start where the problem is, not where you hope it is.

Every wire, minus the black grounds and maybe the black with white stripped 12v switched wires are all different and should not be hard to straighten out.

Is it your engine wiring thats bad? Buy a wiring specialties harness. Problem solved. Do that and if it continues you just figures out 136 way not to make a light bulb

No the engine harness is fine, its eaither the interrior harness or engine bay harness to one with the fuse box. I spoke with one of my auto teachers he said to get a wite tracer to find the short.
