I was doing a quick rebuild on the bottom end of my ka24 s14, changing crank, bearings, and the oil pump and as i was turning the engine upside down, a bolt hit the ground which i'm assuming came from inside the engine. It looks exactly like one of the bolts that are on the cams and it was clean like all bolts found inside an engine. The thing is, the only bolts i removed from inside the engine was the main caps, and the timing chain tensioner, i'm about 99% sure i did not remove that bolt. i did not even touch the head bolts, or the cam gears or anything from the top end except for the covers.
now the question, does anybody happen to have detailed pictures of any bolts that go inside the engine, behind the cam gears, or under the cams or anything like that to help figure out where that bolt came from. It probably helps to mention that the guy who owned the car before me tinkered with the engine a bit to the point that it has an s13 head.
Any help is appreciated
