Looking at going with this because of the adjustable shift gate that is new on this model. Does anyone have any experience with this one? Thanks.

There aren't any reviews on it since it's fairly new. But I do know it's got a lifetime warranty from CS, buy it, abuse it, write a review on it, and enjoy it.

I vote that circuit sports changes their name to "Circus parts"

Why? Still budget but honestly not as bad as ebay parts or godspeed. OP head over to FRSport there is a review on it on the product page.

Let me know if you decide to run the knob you get or buy another one, according to the review, the shifter is smaller and won't work with most shift knobs

Did you not read the thread before you commented? There is one review and it points out a very good (I won't call it flaw) issue that people need to be aware of and that is the shift knob threads not being standard Nissan.

I see that now, I have pretty good ad blocking on my computer so I did not even notice the picture until I looked at their recent posts.

Bringing up an old thread here, but just got the V3, and have been DD'ing it for a week or so now. Has quite a lot of rattle, as all short shifters do, but will take care of that once the weather gets nicer and there's not a ton of snow on the ground.
Also, I'm not sure if they have changed the thread pitch of the shifter, but I asked CS before purchase what it was, and they said it was 10x1.25mm. Which is the stock thread pitch, and my curved shifter extension and stock knob does go directly on. It is not different than the factory shifter.

Cheap short shifters rattle, good ones do not except maybe for B&M.

How do u plan on "taking care" of the rattle? I bought mine but have yet to install it. Just wondering what you plan on doing to fix the rattle...

i purchased the v3 from cs on its first production run. got the two knobs and liked how it was adjustable. i get zero rattling, i like it better than my b&m short shifter.
After rebuilding my transmission and new OS giken clutch/light flywheel it feels appropriate.
cheers.

I'm going to take the 4 screws on top out and stuff that SOB full of lithium grease! If it doesn't stop rattling, no big deal. And also I didn't put any grease in the cup for the shifter bushing, and might try that as well.
Again, if it doesn't work, no big deal to me. I had a B&M shifter for years a couple of 240's ago, and it rattled like crazy. No fucks given.
