Hi all. I have a built RB25DET and she started dying on me coming to a stop out of the blue one morning. Later in the day I took her out and it got worse and towed it home. It now idles at about 550rpm when I can get her to idle on her own, down from the normal 800rpm or so it idled at before when warm. If I put it in gear and try to move she stalls when I stop unless I keep my foot on the gas. I've cleaned the MAF but had no luck and not sure what to do next. I was going to check timing but it seems to have good power other than the stalling. Any suggestions?

check your piping couplers for any boost leaks. a coupler might have popped off.

I checked that and can't find any leaks. Could a blow off valve get stuck open? Only leak I can think of that could be taking place in the piping. The car still seemed to still pull like a raped ape when it got so bad I can't even drive it. I would think if it was leaking I would lose power

Its an HKS that doesn't recirculate. Wouldn't I hear it leaking?

You should be able to feel air coming out of the BOV at idle if it is indeed leaking. I think its a coupler issue. Either you have a hole in one of them or its off the pipes.

I will get it running and spray some soapy water on the connections in the next couple of days and look for bubbles. I'll also see if I can feel the BOV leaking. Thanks.

No luck on finding air bubbles and all connectors are tight. There is no leaking going on with the BOV. Compression check showed even compression all the way across. Leakdown showed less that 5% leakdown so the motor is solid. Any other ideas of what to check?

I know it might be simple but did you check your IACV? especially the plugs

I've cleaned the AAC and checked for leaks. I took it off today and left it plugged in. Plugged the hole in the intake manifold and started it up. I had to give it a little gas to get it to start but it idled really low just like it's been doing. I did this to see if the spring and plunger would move to look for idle. It didn't move at all. Does that mean it isn't working? Does anyone live in Tampa with an RB25 that would be willing to let me slap on there's to see if it fixes my stalling issues?

I don't have a fuel pressure guage but I will check that after some more diagnostics. She runs pretty rich and pretty sure it isn't lack of fuel related.
