Hi, guys...as you can tell from the title, I blew my clutch. I guess after all those time practicing drifting and racing, on top of the 100k miles on the car it had to go sometime. But any ways, I need a new clutch and I dont have a clue what brand is good and what is not. Any help would be greatful. I drive a 96 s14.5. Thanks a lot.

i have an act street clutch and it's nice
but if you're gonna be beating the shit out your clutch then oem may be better cuz it's like half the price

While your up in the tranny you really should replace the throw out bearing. $40 at the Nissan dealer. I just replaced mine (147k) and it was a few millimeters thinner than the new one I bought and made the pedal feel like crap. You have to press out the old one and press in the new one. Or you can find a socket of the right diameter and tap out the old one and just hammer in the new one making sure you remember how everything is placed of course.

if you know you're going to beat the shit out of your clutch, i'd recommend a 6puck. i'm using one right now and love it. a good investment with these is a flywheel with removable clutch contact surface so you don't have to machine your flywheel everytime because 6pucks make it look like you scraped your fw on concrete.
