I recently bought a turbo'd M3 and have been slowly going over the car cleaning it up and fixing short cuts what what not. I haven't used Tial WG's before so I was reading up on it and they say to leave the top port open if you aren't using a boost controller, if you are using one you connect the top port to the boost solenoid. Now Tial's diagram shows a vent in the vacuum line running from the top port to the solenoid but it is not set up like that on the car, it's just a solid hose. I went and looked at pics of other peoples installs and I did not notice a vent in their lines either. Is anyone here running it with a vent in the line? I have the AEM Tru-Boost hooked up to it if that matters. Just kind of curious why I'm not seeing them run like the diagram says to.
I emailed Tial but they haven't responded yet, figured I'd make a post in the mean time.
Thanks.
