How much does this procedure cost? Any other details could be useful too. Thanks.

Some places charge about $100-150 for a set of rims.
these twins i know had their rims painted white and had it done cheap, i was surprised, becasue it never chipped or anythng
now they are dropping a supercharged 3800 into a 90 sunbird... crazy kids

$65 a wheel.
Powdercoating isnt whorably expsensive but IMHO depending on what color you doing it looks stupid. But to each his own. I just dont like black rims.

Those prices sound about right, but there are a few other considerations. I think to do the best job, you are supposed to have the tires off the rims (not sure about this at all). Also, plastic (like the center cap on the s14 SE alloys) can't be coated. I've also seen pics of painted SE wheels and they looked really good. The guy had them for 6 mos or so w/ no problems. I think I am going to do this when I replace tires in the spring since I won't be upgrading the wheels any time soon.

You could go to a body shop if you want the rims painted, look in the yellow pages, and check for someone who does powder coated service in your area.
