i just traded my 2000 jeep cherokee that has 160k on it and has some rust worth about $2000 for a 1995 240sx the body is straight no accidents no rust either that he had for sale or trade for $3500.

The good

paint is original new clear coat though

body has no rust and is straight

engine is all original with 150k on it

new cat-back exhaust

The Bad

sun roof leeks and was sealed up

window seals seem weathered

drivers side inner door panel is ripped and needs to be replaced

the drivers side window button doesnt work

missing radio bezel

what do you guys/girls think was this a good deal

I thought so too iv been looking for one of these cars unmolested and stock with no rust

New Sunroof will be an adventure, lol, have fun with that. Auto->Manual swap is super straight forward if you plan on it. All in all, you didn't do bad.

3500 would have been too much. So basically you paid 2000 which is a sweet deal. Looks really clean. Get a 5 speed in there asap!

Nice trade.

Majority of people seal the sunroof.

5 speed swap is pretty straight forward.
