Well i finally have the s13 redtop into s14 running. I had a shop do the wiring for me. After i left the shop about thirty minutes of driving on the freeway, my radio turns off. So im like O.K.... Then all of the sudden my idle goes really bad and starts to spudder like it was going to die. So I pull into the safety zone and 5 seconds later the engine dies out. Then I try to start it back up and it would not crank at all. Shortly after my brother comes with his car and we decided to try jumping the car. Now it cranks but would not turn over. I have checked all the fuses and ingition chip and it all works. So me and my friend decided to check if i was getting fuel. So i find out that i wasnt getting fuel and i replace my fuel pump with my friend old fuel pump. But still to no avail. It was still not getting any fuel.

Sorry for the long post but i am desparate and I want my baby back running...

Any help would be greatly appeciated

P.S - My battery is a new optima battery

Assuming that both your fuel pump and your friends old fuel pump work fine, (test them by connecting them directly to a 12 volt power supply AWAY from any gasoline!! The spark when you connect it to the 12 volt power supply could ignite the gas fumes), your problem may be in the wiring. If both fuel pumps are working fine after you've tested them, then chances are there is a loose ground wire or loose positive wire in the wiring harness leading to the fuel pump. Tracing down the loose wire is gonna be a beyatch!!
Hope this helps....
Good Luck!!

have you checked the fuel pump relay? that might also be your problem
also could be a blown fuse
