Hi all I'm gonna put supertech piston 86.5 or 87mm wih 9:1 compression ratio and I wanna know witch thickness head gasket I have to put if I wanna save my original compression ratio (8.5:1).. thanks all

Or if I save the 9:1 compression ratio what that do or what I have to change

Doesnt really matter, the difference is minimal compression wise. I'd be more worried about how much you'll shave to head when/if you get it decked so you'll have the same thickness.

I like the thinner gaskets. It makes me feel like there is less area to present to the process of combustion.
more specifically, it feels like there is less space between the head and deck (quench?) for the process of combustion to interact with places it should not be allowed to go.

remember, the gasket does not cover everything. exposed places, big spaces/gaps, not a good thing. Get the head as close to the block as you can.
