What would be the best for my application?
Its a stock SR20DET for now, I may be going for 300 whp in the next year or so, going to be drifted once a month or so and daily driven
I don't mind about a little clutch chatter or if its a little harder to engage smoothly or not.
My biggest factor is I'm looking for a clutch that'll last a decent amount of time. Anything more than about 50k miles and I'll be happy. I don't want to drop 300-400 bucks on a clutch that will wear out in 10k miles
I'm trying to decide whether to get an exedy stage 1, it'll be nice to drive since its OEM style. But its upper limit is about 300 whp and I don't know if I'll just be replacing it in the future when I up the power
The other two choices would be an exedy stage 2 or an ACT 6 puck. They'll handle my power goals but I don't know much about the wear rate. I've heard people say they wear out in 10k miles, but who knows, maybe thats just people ranting about their faulty clutch.
