Did I see you on the freeway the other day ?
I was in my really beat looking black S13 hatch w/ apexi sticker on window.
I saw a car just like yours on 280N.
I might be able to help you out with the install depending on when exactly you want to work. I live in sunset on 19th/judah.

I dunno if anyone else does this, but when you put them on, I recommend that you cover the threads with something so that tiny pebbles don't get caught with those height adjustment things and make them impossible to turn. I spent hours cleaning mine so I decided to just cover them up to prevent having to do it again. (I have a pic but Zilvia's telling me it exceeds my image quota or something.)

Question is why you can't do it yourself??? Are you lacking the tools needed? Or are you just being cautious on the easy install? It's pretty simple to do... it's a bolt on bolt off affair. Make sure you check the top bolt on the fronts... they're often loose when shipped new from Tein. I don't know why but almost everyone has had that experience.

Don't mean to jack the thread, but I too am going to be putting HE's on my s14 shortly. There isn't a need for compressing the springs to take off your existing shock/spring set up, is there? just unbolt and take off, right?

You are right, Just unbolt and take off. The only time you need a compressor is if you were to disassemble the stock shock/spring setup itself

install them yourself! i'd have to say that installing these was easier than installing sway bars!
all you need is 19mm, 17mm, both open ends and sockets, uhm, 14mm, scred driver and breaker barr! i think maybe a 12mm THATS IT! unexperienced maybe an hour front hour rear INCLUDINGT ADJUSTMENTS, and an hour rear including adjsutments as well! i mean! if you learn it yoursaelf the first time arrond! then you dont have to pay or wait on someone to do it for you! im welcome to help you out VERBALLy with anything you might need to ask!
ALSO! they should come on 16 and preset to a stock ride height! read ur manual for appropriate settings for strut and spring lock adjsutments!
