Moving, Gonna need buddies!

What's up guys, as the title says Ill be moving to Round Rock TX in the very near future. Coming from AZ, any state should have a better car scene. I would like to know where some weekly meets are I could attend. I know COBB does first Thursdays and I will defiantly be a regular there. The other thing I wanted to know was concerning emissions. What are the rules on older cars? I have a 91 Toyota Celica that I know will not pass. Is it exempt by age? Is there a way around it if it is not exempt? Just so the thread isn't nothing but rambling and reading. Here's my car Ill be turning into a TX local. I look forward to chatting with some of you that are already in the area and hope to create some new friendships.

Thats my old stumpin ground! The car scene is ok, but I would be more concerned with car thieves!! Get a good ass alarm and tracking, stay away from the meets unitl u get thew lay of the land. There is one tuner shop in Austin thats ok, but better support in DFW area and Houston. Spl is local! Texas SMOG is not comparable to Cali, u do need cats! The small country towns are not smogging but the large cities are!
