I've been looking for a daily driver for a while now (going to make the S13 a weekend-only car), and was headed toward the new car route until my friend offered to sell me his S14. I will list the good, the bad, the price and you give me your opinions.
car: '96 SE... automatic, 103k
mods: S15 front with unpainted fenders, carbon hood and bumper, Sparco Lap 5 steering wheel, brand new Tein S-tech and KYG AGX, strut bar, Sony headunit.
Needs driver side window motor, 02 sensor, right lower control arm. The car had a light encounter with a mountain, and the passenger airbag blew, so it needs a new dash (this one is torn around the passenger airbag hole). The damage has been repaired (except for control arm) and the accident is the reason for the S15 front. Carbon/fiberglass front bumper was backed into and has a crack in it on the side near the wheelwell.
The car drives fine but pulls right (control arm) and has a vibration between 55-70mph (most likely wheel bearing).
Price: $2900
Oh yeah, it has indiglo gauges and a neon thingie that flashes to the music (sadly disconnected)... That should have been a selling point right then and there, but I just couldn't decide :p :D...
Plans: Vertex sides and rear, de-tinting, 17x8/9's of some sort and 5-speed swap... IF I get it.
