I know of a few Q45's down in the yards here. Do they all have that gearing?

Yea the newer ones have the 3.6 and the older ones have 3.5. All should have VLSD's too.

They have one at the yard I go to every weekend. its a 94 I could get it to you for $150 before shipping. LMK

Thanks! I think I decided on a 4.6 and stay in third rather than a 3.5. Thanks everyone for looking out.

Damn! I saw this kinda late, but if you're interested I have a minty (like all the little machining grooves still visible minty) R&P pulled from a r200 in a 3.69 ratio. It was what I wanted to run if I'd gone LSx, seeing as ratios would be perfect for a GTO's T56... But I have since gone SR and no longer need it. I bought it from someone in Japan and it was sold to me as R200 3.69 ratio but I never did get to installing it so I am unsure whether it was originally a Euro R&P (3.69 where standard 240sx pinion shims can be used) or one of the Q45 style R200 pinions which requires custom shims be made...

120 plus shipping if you want it, pinion bearing is still in place, it's out of the diff ready to go otherwise. I can email pics, etc. just let me know if interested. (9one 9)7 zero4-67O4
