Well everyone heres the beginning of my second 240. My original was a 95s14 that I had big intentions on a 2jz swap but ended up selling the car before I could get started into it. But now Ive got a 91 hatch that I got off a buddy for 300 bucks. The plan here is to have a good running rb car on coils and a decent set of wheels that arent 4 lug. And all this is to be done before Ocean City cruise week beginning May 16 If i remember correctly.....
Before even picking up the shell I had already ordered my mount kit and driveshaft, wiring harness, intercooler, headlights off a local forum, radiator and hoses, fans, various odds and ends just to get the drivetrain in and moving. Ive since begun on the suspension and brake end of the car with getting a braided in bay brake line kit to get rid of my abs and take out those hideous lines with it.
Well heres to the start of the pics.
From the first afternoon of beginning to strip it of whatever was left which was the whole rear, and front body panels........there is no interior

And yes the single cam is almost falling out of the car. It was only held on by about 2 threads of the motor mount on one side and the other sides stud wasnt even in the mount so during transport it decided to shift and fall like that

And heres the only real spot of rust on the thing minus a little bit on the rear body which is cake to fix

The rears out and ready to be dissassembled and clesaed/repainted and have the open diff welded

And the collection that is building more and more day by day (Still need a truck to go get everything off the parts car and pick up the rb from the importer....)

Also anyone in the Maryland, DC, NOVA area that would want to possibly lend a hand in some stuff feel free to let me know. I'm always open to meeting new people.
