i've run into a peculiar problem tonight while swapping the ebrake lines for z32
the t-bracket where it is supposed to come off, the passenger side line seems to be frozen in place. Driver side moves about a little, i definitely need to clean it off or something, cause it won't pop out either.
anyone run into this and fix? i sprayed pb and am gonna let it sit for 12 hours, but it doesn't seem like that will cut it

Are the metal knubs free moving inside the bracket... can you kinda spin them around?
It helps to unbolt the lines from the subframe and unhook them from the calipers... this will give you extra slack needed to get the cables through the t bracket slots. Once you get the cable lined up with the slot you should be able to just push it out of the bracket. Might help to use a screwdriver or something if you have stubby fingers.

heat the metal knub with a torch

the one that is frozen, passenger side, won't spin. that's my issue. the driver side i can pop out, it's just a little dirty so it's hard but whatever.
i tried heating with a lighter lol, don't have a torch. nothing... lighter not hot enjoy right?

mine were all siezed together too. i scrubbed the rust away with a wire brush then whacked it with a hammer and pryed it apart with a screwdriver. needed to disconnect the handle to bring that t section down to the floor to work on it. might have used some wd40 aswell
