Hey guys I'm new here.
I own a 180sx sr20det.
My problem is, I was driving home stopped at traffic lights and car just turned off. Now all fuses and relays are fine, full tank of fuel, battery is fully charged and alternator is charging good. When I turn the car to "on" lights and stereo work but the fuel pump power windows and climate control won't work, it cranks but nothing, not even the light on the ecu comes on! Now it does have a immobilizer and it is working, doors unlock and lock and the light for it turns off when in armed.
I'm in desperate need of help guys I would appreciate any feed back!
Thanks
Mike

the fuel pump won't turn on, if the ecu isn't on. You have to look at the power distribution areas. Most likely rubbed through harness or blown relay or fuse. I know you said the "relays and fuses are fine". But you did try to start the car without power to the ecu.
So pull test and check relays and fuses. even the battery connection would have been a good idea to check before posting.

Thanks for the reply mate!
Any places in particular to check for rubbing? I have checked the battery connections and their solid.

check the harness under the fender, ecu plug, relay box, and any of the brown and grey plugs and socket the harness connects too.

Hey guys been a while since I been on here but sad to say my 180 is still dead. Lately I have bypassed the immobilizer and checked the loom in the guards for rubbing, still got nothing. At this point of time,
Starter cranks strong, battery fully charged, no dash lights when key switched to "on" and while "on" climate controll and power windows won't work. Fuel pump is not priming and ecu red light is not coming on.
Battery fully charged and is new.
3/4 tank of fuel
Oil and coolant fine
Is automatic :( auto fluid is fine.
Yes I have it in park when cranking
Fuses are all good
Swapped relays no results
Have unplugged and plugged ecu few times
Desperate for some new options, anything
Cheers
Maybe the plug that tells the car that it is in park has unplugged??
Have you tried a different ecu?
Sorry, I can't really help much on this :/

Your issue is in the wiring, you have to take the action. Find and label all brown and grey plugs
Your going to test these plugs/sockets for power, and continuity later, if you make a chart you'll be able to reference the data later sitting at a computer with the fsm open.
You can check the relays sockets for power, KOEO if any fail the check find out where they get their power from, this will tell you if the ecu should have power or not. If the eccs relay doesn't have power how can the ecu?
With no blown fuses and relays, you're basically are saying you are fuck'd! So I hope you just didn't check correctly, pull them out inspect, check and replace.
When I said check, I didn't mean just look at that area or item, but tear into it and verify. The brown plugs by the front right tend to corrode and the wires break and still have continuity and even power until the voltage increases.
